Du wolltest schon immer mal ins Sommercamp fahren, weißt aber nicht genau, was dich dort erwartet? Unser Overnight Camp am Werbellinsee ist die beliebteste Location für heiße Sommertage. Hier übernachtest du direkt am See umgeben von atemberaubender Natur. In diesem Blogartikel verraten wir dir, wie ein typischer Tag in unserem Overnight Camp in Werbellinsee aussieht.

7.30 Good morning! ☀️
Um halb acht startet ein neuer Tag im Camp. Wir haben viel vor und langsam werden auch unsere Morgenmuffel wach. Der Programmplan für die Woche hängt im Gemeinschaftsraum aus und so können die Teilnehmer:innen jederzeit nachsehen, wann welche Aktivität stattfindet. Bouldern, Stand Up Paddling oder eine Fahrradtour -jeden Tag steht eine andere actionreiche Aktivität auf dem Programm. Heute wird es sportlich, denn am Nachmittag wird der Werbellinsee mit dem Tretboot unsicher gemacht.
8.15 First things first: Breakfast 🍳
Nachdem sich die Teilnehmenden bereit für den Tag gemacht haben, ist es Zeit für das Frühstück. Damit man gar nicht erst in Versuchung kommt, wird auch hier Englisch
gesprochen. Was sich am ersten Tag vielleicht noch etwas ungewohnt anfühlt, ist am
zweiten Tag schon kein Problem mehr. Unsere Trainer:innen helfen dir dabei, falls dir mal ein Wort nicht einfällt, und so lernst du neue Vokabeln und die richtige Grammatik ganz nebenbei.
9.00-12.00 Time to get creative 🎨
Bist du ein zukünftiger Bühnenstar? Ein strahlender Stern am Popstarhimmel oder doch eher ein:e innovative:r Unternehmer:in mit spannenden Zukunftsvisionen? In unseren Englisch-Workshops kannst du dich zusammen mit den anderen Teilnehmer:innen kreativ ausleben. Dabei erstellt ihr euren eigenen Kurzfilm, probt ein Theaterstück oder einen Song oder ihr entwickelst einen Pitch für euer Start-Up. Jeden Tag steigt die Vorfreude etwas mehr, denn am Ende der Woche werden die verschiedenen Projekte den Eltern vorgestellt.
12.15 Keep calm and eat lunch 🥪
Der Tag ist noch lange nicht vorbei und deswegen machen wir uns nach den Workshops auf den Weg zum Mittagessen. Während der Lunch Break tauschen sich die Teilnehmer:innen darüber aus, was sie in ihren Workshops erlebt haben. Es gibt jede Menge zu lachen und die Vorfreude auf das Tretbootfahren steigt. Übrigens: Falls du dich vegetarisch ernährst oder Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten hast, ist das kein Problem. Vermerke es einfach auf deinem Anmeldebogen und wird sorgen dafür, dass unsere Trainer:innen Bescheid wissen.
14.00-17.00 Adventure o‘clock 🎒
Endlich geht es rauf auf’s Wasser! Die Tretboote stehen schon bereit und die
Teilnehmer:innen können es kaum erwarten, sich an einem heißen Tag endlich im See
abzukühlen. Spätestens jetzt fällt dir auf, dass du dich ganz automatisch auf Englisch
unterhältst und du schon viel selbstbewusster mit den Teilnehmer:innen und Trainer:innen sprechen kannst. Beim Beach Volleyball oder einer Runde Karten findet man nicht nur neue Freunde, sondern lernt auch Teilnehmende aus ganz Deutschland kennen.
17.00-18.00 Feel free 😄
Nach unserer Nachmittagsaktivität haben die Teilnehmenden Zeit, um zu entspannen, sich mit ihren Zimmernachbarn zu unterhalten oder bei verschiedenen Spielen mitzumachen. Die Trainer:innen sorgen für gute Laune und zwischendurch wird auch mal eine kleine Tanzpause eingelegt. Alle unsere Trainer:innen sind Muttersprachler und vermitteln die Inhalte mit Kreativität und Begeisterung, denn bei uns steht der Spaß beim Lernen im Vordergrund.
18.00 Dinner 🍽️
Bei so viel Action wird man hungrig und deswegen geht es für die Teilnehmer:innen zum Abendbrot. Auch hier gilt die English-Only-Regel, die mittlerweile zur Gewohnheit geworden ist. Die Trainer:innen und Teilnehmer:innen erstellen noch schnell die perfekte Party-Playlist, denn zurück im Camp erwartet die Teilnehmer:innen ein ganz besonderes Abendprogramm.
19.00 A little party never killed nobody 🥳
Hat hier jemand Party gesagt? Während des Abendessens hat sich der Gemeinschaftsraum in eine Disco verwandelt. Partylichter und Musikboxen sorgen für das richtige Feeling und das Camp wird zum coolsten Club in ganz Werbellinsee. Ein Tanz-Battle jagt das nächste und es ist beeindruckend, welche Moves die Teilnehmer:innen draufhaben. Der perfekte Abschluss für einen perfekten Tag!
21.00 House Meeting 🏠
Beim House Meeting lassen die Trainer:innen und Teilnehmer:innen den Tag noch einmal Revue passieren. Was waren die Highlights? Welche Aktivitäten haben besonders viel Spaß gemacht? Und was ist für den nächsten Tag geplant? Nachdem alle Fragen geklärt wurden, überkommt die Müdigkeit die Teilnehmer:innen. Schnell noch Zähne putzen und dann ab ins Bett.
21.30-22.00 Good Nighty! 🌙
Ein aufregender Tag geht zu Ende und die Teilnehmer:innen fallen müde und zufrieden ins Bett. Bald ist die Woche am Werbellinsee schon vorbei und die Zeit verging wie im Flug. Der Abschied am letzten Tag fällt immer schwer, aber dafür ist die Vorfreude auf das nächste Jahr umso größer. In der Zwischenzeit bleiben die Teilnehmer:innen in Kontakt und können so auch weiterhin an ihren Englisch-Skills feilen. Außerdem werden alle Neuigkeiten auf unserem Instagram Account @letslevelupenglish gepostet, damit du auf dem Laufenden bleiben kannst.

Here you would spend the night at a beautiful lake surrounded by breath-taking nature. In this blog article, we'll tell you what a typical day at our overnight camp in Werbellinsee looks like.
7.30 Good morning! ☀️
A new day at camp is starting - at half past seven! We have a lot to do today and slowly even our morning grouches are starting to wake up. The plan for the week is displayed in the common room and you and the other participants check where and when each activity will be taking place. Bouldering, stand-up paddling, bike tours - every day has a different action-packed activity. Today will be sporty because in the afternoon we will rent some pedal boats to explore the lake!
8.15 First thing’s first: Breakfast 🍳
After you’ve gotten ready for the day, it's time for breakfast, where only English is spoken. What may have felt a little unfamiliar on the first day is no longer a problem, and when you can't remember a word, our trainers are always there to help you! That way, you learn new vocabulary and the right grammar through conversations instead of textbooks.
9.00-12.00 Time to get creative 🎨
Could you be the next big famous actor or actress? Or rather, an innovative entrepreneur with exciting visions for the future? During our English workshops, you’ll get creative together with the other participants. You could create your own short film, rehearse a play or a song, or develop a pitch for your start-up. The excitement grows a little more each day because at the end of the week the different projects will be presented to the parents!
12.15 Keep calm and eat lunch 🥪
The day is far from over, so after the workshops, we head off for lunch. During the lunch break, we all share what we have experienced during the morning’s workshops. There is a lot to laugh about and the anticipation for pedal boating is increasing. By the way: If you are a vegetarian or have food intolerances, that’s no problem. Just make a note of it on your registration form and we'll make sure our trainers know about it.
14.00-17.00 Adventure o'clock 🎒
Finally, it's time to get out on the water! The pedal boats are ready, and we can hardly wait to cool off in the lake on such a hot day. By now, you'll notice that you've been automatically speaking in English and that you’re speaking more confidently with the other participants and trainers than before. While playing beach volleyball or cards, you’re not only making new friends but also getting to know participants from all over Germany!
17.00-18.00 Feel free 😄
After our afternoon activity, you have time to relax, talk to your roommates, or join in with various games. The trainers will keep you in a good mood and there might even be a little dance break in between all the relaxation. All of our trainers are native speakers and teach the content with creativity and enthusiasm because our focus is on making learning a fun experience!
18.00 Dinner 🍽️
With so much action, you get hungry, so you all go out for dinner. Here, the English-only rule applies too, which has become a habit by now. During dinner, the trainers create the perfect party playlist with your help, because back at the camp, a very special evening program awaits you all.
19.00 A little party never killed nobody 🥳
Did someone say party? Returning from dinner, you see that the common room has been transformed into a disco! Party lights and a jukebox create the right feeling, and the camp has become the coolest club in Werbellinsee. One dance battle follows the next and it is impressive what moves everyone has. The perfect way to end the day!
21.00 House Meeting 🏠
At the House Meeting, the trainers and participants review the day. What were the highlights? Which activities were particularly fun? And what is planned for the next day? After all the questions have been answered, you all notice how tired you are! A quick brush of the teeth and then it's time to go to bed.
21.30-22.00 Good Nighty! 🌙
An exciting day comes to an end and you can hardly keep your eyes open. Soon, the week in Werbellinsee will be over and the time will have flown by. Saying goodbye on the last day is always difficult, but the anticipation for next year keeps us hopeful. In the meantime, you all will stay in touch and can continue to hone your English skills.
