The historic old town enchants with colorful half-timbered houses and the diverse range of leisure activities offers your class a great mix of culture and nature. An ideal base for exploring the sights of the largest geopark in Germany, the Discover the UNESCO Global Geopark Harz. The youth hostel with its music house is particularly suitable for our English & Music program.

The youth hostel Wernigerode is quietly located on the edge of the forest, but not far from the old town of Wernigerode. This can be reached within 25 minutes on foot or comfortably with the city bus. You can take the Harz narrow-gauge railway or the Brocken Railway to the Harz National Park. The roof terrace of the youth hostel offers a fantastic view of the Brocken and Wernigerode Castle.
